Privacy Policy

EvalScout ("the app", "we", "us"), operated by Godack Investment Group, is a coaching tool that lets sports coaches build rosters, score player skills, rank athletes, and share evaluation reports. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account data — email address and password hash (handled by Firebase Authentication). Anonymous guest sessions create a temporary account with no email.
• Coach profile — name, organization, team name, title, phone, and an optional profile/logo image.
• Roster data — player names, jersey numbers, positions, birthdays, and photos you enter.
• Evaluation data — skill scores, notes, seasons, and custom or hidden skills you configure.
• Settings — theme, report language, roster size, notification preferences.
• Audit logs — admin role changes, for accountability.

How we use it

• To provide the app: rosters, scoring, rankings, PDF reports, and report sharing/emailing.
• To sync your data between the web app and the mobile app.
• To send account emails (verification, password reset) and evaluation reports you request.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Where it's stored

App data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) on Google's infrastructure. Report emails are relayed through our server at api.evalscout.org. Authentication and data access are protected by Firebase security rules tied to your account.

Children's data

EvalScout is a tool for coaches and organizations, not for children. Coaches may enter information about youth players (names, birthdays, scores). Coaches and clubs are responsible for having the right to record and process that information.

Sharing

We don't share your data with anyone except the service providers above, and only to run the app. Report PDFs and emails you generate are shared only with the recipients you choose.

Your choices

• Browse as a guest without creating an account.
• Update or delete roster and profile data inside the app at any time.
• Request full account and data deletion by contacting us below.

Data retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a player, evaluation, or profile removes it from the database immediately. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
